George Raymond Kudera

age 57, of Gary, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017. George is survived by his mother Martha Kudera; son John Minnick; aunt Dorothy Peoples; former wife Nicole Floyd; cousins Victor (Sharon) Peoples and Benny (Sue) Reynolds; best friend Brian Von Alme n; brother-in-law Tony (Lauri) Lungaro; many other extended family and friends. Preceded in death by his father Raymond, brother Larry and sister Gail.

George was employed as a Crane Operator by Atlas Tube in Chicago for over 17 years. He was a true "workaholic" and a kind-hearted, generous man with a wonderful sense of humor. An avid fisherman George spent many hours fishing with his family and friends . He was a truly good man who cherished his family and expressed his affection as often as he could. We will miss him dearly and remember him always.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 7:00 PM at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home & Crematory 7109 Calumet Ave Hammond with Dc. Raymond Helfen officiating. F riends may visit with the family on Thursday from 4:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home. Cremation at Solan Pruzin to follow.
