Georgia M. Ratley (nee Huggins)

age 92, of Hammond, IN passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 19, 2021. Georgia is survived by her loving husband of 73 years, Luke Jr; grandchildren, Gwen Cadieux (Jesse Huskisson), Tish (Donnie) Bartell, Dr. Samantha (Joe) Atkins and Luke Ratley; seven great grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren; daughter in laws, Rita Ratley and Marilyn (Tony) White; and nieces and nephew. Preceded by her beloved children, Rich, Sandi and Mike Ratley; and sister, Virginia Stringham. Georgia loved fishing and was a wonderful mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed and cherished.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2021, from 10:00 -12:00 noon at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home , 7109 Calumet Ave., HAMMOND, IN. Services start at 12:00 noon with Pastor Rusty Shields officiating. Burial will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, IN. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to www.diabetes.org
