Gerald Toole, Jr.

age 46, of Hammond, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 5, 2021. Gerald is survived by his loving mother, Joyce Toole; brother, James Toole; uncles: John (Joann) Svitek, Don Toole, and Tony (Denise) Toole; aunts, Carol (Raymond) Malenius, Leona (Tim) Lee, and Diane Glassow; Tamara (late, Robert) Svitek and Clarie (late, Leo) Svitek; and several cousins. Preceded in death by his father Gerald Toole, Sr.; and Uncles Alex Toole. Herman (Marieann) Caine, Richard (Cecil) Ross and James (late, Mary) Svitek.

Gerald attended Gavit High School and went on to work as a roofer. He enjoyed fishing, motorcycle riding, and hunting. Gerald also loved being with his friends.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, October 11, 2021, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home , 7109 Calumet Ave., HAMMOND, IN. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at St. John / St. Joseph Cemetery in Hammond, IN. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
