Geraldine A. Smith

age 91, of Highland, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 17, 2021.  Geraldine is survived by her loving children: Alan (JoAnne) Ross, Gail (Terry) Graegin, Cheryl "Cheri" (Kevin) Snedden, Carol (Ted) Plum, Leah "Tracy" Okamoto; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sisters: Carol Boyer and Judy (Dick) Downs. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Smith; brother Jack Turner; and parents John C. and Leona Turner.

Geraldine was an avid gardener, loved bowling, puzzles, and reading. She was a lifelong Cubs fan and bunco enthusiast.

A Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Solan-Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Ave., Schererville, IN. A Service commemorating Geraldine's life will be held at 12:00 PM with Fr. Mark Pavlina officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
