Gloria Galich, age 89, of Hammond, IN, formerly of the East Side of Chicago, IL, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 7, 2021. She is survived by her son, Daniel (Gail) Galich; daughter, Debbie Rucinski; grandchildren: Amie Hall, Israel Hall, Laurie Kennar, Caleb Hall, Bryan Rucinski, Jane Galich, Steven Butts, and Celeste Butts; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Preceded by her husband, Michael Galich; daughter, Michelle Galich; parents, James and Rose DeBow; sister Shirley Popen; and brother, Richard DeBow.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2021 from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Solan-Pruzin Funeral Home and Crematory , 14 Kennedy Avenue, Schererville, IN 46375. A Service will be held at 6:00 PM with Father Mark Pavlina officiating. Burial at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery will be scheduled for a later date.

Masks will be available for those who choose to wear one.
