Hayley Anna Curran

“HALO”

Age 26, of Schererville, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 24th, 2026. Hayley will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her deeply.

She is survived by her loving parents, John and Amy Curran; brothers, Jack and Danny Curran; fur baby Golden Retriever, Athena Rose; cherished grandparents, Gerald and Sharon Curran, and Thomas and Margaret Swanson; many loving aunts and uncles, Susan and David Gozdecki, Jerry and Allison Curran, and Barbie Swanson; cousins Morgan and Adam Keric, Leo and Michelle Gozdecki, John and Stephanie Coggins, Orion James, Jimmy Hines, Jack Coggins, Matthew and Nathan Curran; baby cousins, Viktor Keric, Francesca and Vincent Gozdecki; countless friends whose lives she touched and whose friendships meant the world to her - especially lifelong friends Meg, Tyler, Sammi, and Nic. Many other extended family members, cousins, and dear friends whose lives she was a part of, that she loved deeply.

Hayley was preceded in death by her beloved great-grandparents, Joseph and Delores Bergen, who she grew up with and had a very special place in her heart, along with her dear friend Derek.

Hayley’s vibrant spirit, kind heart, and beautiful presence brought joy to those around her. Her memory will forever be treasured by her family and friends. Hayley loved her family fiercely and shared a special bond with her brothers, whom she lovingly kept in line as their protective and caring sister. She adored her baby cousins, was devoted to her grandparents, and treasured the strong relationships she shared with her aunts and uncles.

Hayley attended St. Michael School and was a proud 2018 graduate of Lake Central High School. She continued her education at Ball State University, graduating in 2023 with degrees in Criminal Justice and Psychology. During her time there, she was a proud member of Alpha Phi. Hayley’s ultimate dream was to one day work for the FBI, and she pursued that goal with determination and passion.

Hayley had a love for fashion and always enjoyed dressing beautifully. She was a true fashionista with a style of her own. She loved dancing, especially Sunday country line dancing, and found happiness being surrounded by the people she loved most.

Rest easy, Halo, Mama and Daddy’s little ball of sunshine. Your brothers will forever miss their sissy, and your family will love and cherish you for eternity. Though her time here was far too short, Hayley’s love, laughter, and spirit will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew her. She is now dancing in heaven with the angels and with her beloved boyfriend, Sam Boomershine.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2026 from 3:00 – 7:00pm at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Ave, SCHERERVILLE, IN.
