Helen N. Ruth

Age 75, of Hammond, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 13, 2019.

Helen is survived by her loving daughters, Katie Galvan of Munster, IN and Jennifer Steinbach of Hammond, IN; grandchildren, Matthew and Kaylee Galvan and Bailey Arnold; 4 sisters; and 25 nieces and nephews. Helen was preceded by her father, John Paul Superczynski; brother, John Paul Jr.; and sister, Trudi (Gertrude) Ford.

Helen is a graduate of Truman College.  She worked for the National Safety Council and retired from Household Bank. She attended Christian Fellowship Church. She loved to garden. She had a beautiful smile, liked to laugh and made friends everywhere she went.

The Funeral Service celebrating Helen's life will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home , 7109 Calumet Ave, Hammond, Indiana. Pastor Ron Lundy will be officiating.

Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 9:00 AM until time of the service. 1:30 PM burial at Saint Joseph Cemetery, 8501 West Belmont Ave., River Grove, IL 60171.
