Helen Visnyak age 98 of Hammond passed away Thursday Oct. 21, 2015 she is survived by 2 sons Joseph(Susan)Visnyak, John(Diane)Visnyak, 5 grandchildren Lisa Michnik, Nicole(Christopher)Gauldin, Erik(Liz)Visnyak, Sarah Visnyak, Allison Visnyak, 3 great grandchildren, 1 brother Nick(Irene)Soley, many nieces, nephews and sister-in-law. Preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Joseph, daughter Julie Michnik, 2 grandsons Alex and Joe Michnik, 8 brothers,3 sisters. Funeral services will be held Monday Oct. 26, 2015 10:00 am Mass Directly at St. John Bosco Church 7113 Columbia Ave. Hammond, IN with Fr Richard Orlinski officiating at rest Memory Lane Cemetery Schererville, IN Helen will lie in state at the church from 9:30 am until time of mass. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday Oct. 25, 2015 at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home 14 Kennedy Ave. Schererville, In(Corner Main & Kennedy)from 3 till 8 PM. Helen was a lifelong Hammond resident, lifelong member of St. John Bosco Church and Alter & Rosary Society.
