Jacob H. Schmitt

age 40, of Highland, passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022. He is survived by his loving wife, Annastasia Schmitt (nee Jefferson); precious children, Adalia and Jackson; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Nora and Vernon Jefferson; brothers-in-law, Christian (Lyndee) Jefferson and Jacob Jefferson; niece and nephews, Kevin, Gianna, and Andrew; many aunts and uncles including dear Aunt Charlene (late, Jim) Schmitt; and best friends, Matthew Burke, Piotr Sikora, and Joshua Robinson. Preceded in death by his dear mother, Karen Schmitt.

Jacob was a 1999 graduate of Bloom Trail High School in Chicago Heights. He was a local independent professional wrestler and referee. Jacob enjoyed going to the gym, gaming, and coaching softball for his children with the Hessville Little League.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home , 14 Kennedy Ave., Schererville, IN from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A Service Celebrating Jacob's Life will be held at 7:30 PM. Services conclude at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
