Jim O. Bensley

age 55, of Hammond, passed away on Monday April 9, 2018.  Jim is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Melissa and their children: Emily (Cameron) Williams, Alex Bensley and Finley Bensley;  grandchildren  Aiden and Jayce;                                                                          siblings Keith (Nancy) Bensley and Melanie (late Michael) Pauley; special nieces, nephews, aunts, un, cousins and furry friends: Frank, Budda, Lola and Jeppy.  Jim was preceded in death by his parents Otis and Virginia.

A gathering of friends will be held on Sunday April 15, 2018 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home & Crematory 14 Kennedy Ave Schererville, IN.

Jim was employed with Fed Ex  for 27 years, was the Chess Club Coach for Jefferson Elementary School and member of the Mensa International Society. Jim loved his family, friends, books and newspaper.
