JAMES A. JOHNSON "SHAGGY"

age 20, of Hammond, passed away Tuesday June 3, 2014. James is survived by: parents Angela (Michael Bleu) Johnson and Joshua Johnson; siblings: Samantha, Austin, Tommie, Mila, Spiro and Marina Johnson; grandparents: Rip & Bonnie Johnson, Audrey & Robert Warzyniak, Glen (Chris) Kuiper; great grandmother Joan Johnson; great grandfather Raymond Warzyniak; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends; feline buddy Smokey. Preceded in death by his great grandparents: Barbara & John Deliget, Len & June Baumann, Johnny Johnson & Dolores Warzyniak; grandmother Sandy Bleu-Harkin.

James was an avid fisherman, loved to draw and enjoyed playing the guitar. He had a collection of hats and always had one on. James was devoted to his family, Sam and Jim were like peanut butter and jelly. He would often make time to help his brothers with their homework. James will be dearly missed by his loving family.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday June 7, 2014 at 5:00 PM at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home 7109 Calumet Ave Hammond. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 12:00-6:00 PM at the funeral home. Cremation at Solan Pruzin Crematory to follow. In lieu of flowers donations to the family would be appreciated.
