Jane M. King (nee Brock)

Age 89, of Highland, IN passed away peacefully Thursday, March 2, 2017. She is survived by her loving children, Karen King (Donna Van Hook) of CO, Janet King of Highland, and Jim (Diane) King of MN; her grandchildren, Megan (Jon) Nixon, Mark (Briana) King, Patrick (Jenny) Modrowski, Jennifer Wojkovich (Pablo De la Rosa), Dennis Wojkovich, Ben Wojkovich (Melanie), Jordan Wojkovich, Tyler Wojkovich, Amelia (David) Dorn; and 10 great grandchildren. Jane was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Richard E. King.

A Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM, Monday, March 6, 2017 DIRECTLY at St. James The Less, 9640 Kennedy Ave., Highland, IN 46322. With Rev. Keith M. Virus officiating. Jane will lie in state at the church from 9:30 am until time of service, and will be laid to rest directly after at St. Josephs Cemetery in Hammond, IN. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday March 5, 2017 at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home , 14 Kennedy Ave., Schererville, IN (corner of Kennedy and Main) 46375 from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM.

Jane was an Avon Representative for 50 years. She was a volunteer at a Hospice Thrift Store. Jane loved to travel with her family and friends. She worked at State Farm, and was an avid reader. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to www.stjude.org/give.
