Janell Ann Monyko (Kienker)

72, of Cedar Lake, IN, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Hospice of the Calumet Area. Loving first wife of late Gregory K. Whittam and loving wife of late John Monyko, Jr. Devoted mother of Karen Whittam. Stepmother of Michelle Johnson, Tina Pascoe, Shawn Monyko, and Dwayne Monyko. Beloved daughter of late Harlan and Emma Kienker. Dear sister of Janet (Ron) Paul, Harlan Ray (late Marianne) Kienker, Blaine (Nancy) Kienker, and Sherry (Mark) Todd. Sister in-law of Marilla Murphy. Proud grandmother of her sunshines Paige, Karli, Brandon, Amanda, Amber, Gage, Justin, Austin, late Lucas, April, Tommy, Melissa, and Michael.

Janell loved life as much as she loved her family and friends. She was the highlight wherever she went; always willing to give a helping hand where it was needed. Janell was adored and loved by all who knew her.

Family and friends will gather to honor Janell and celebrate her life on Sunday, June 10, 2018 from 1-3PM at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home &
Crematory 14 Kennedy Ave, Schererville, IN 46375. Prayers, memories, sorrow and joy will be shared at 3PM during Janell's Memorial Service.
