Janet C. Rivich

age 77, of Munster, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023. Janet is survived by her siblings: Mary Rivich, George (Pat) Rivich, and Sharon Rivich; niece, Monica (Robert) Dal Santo; nephew, Nicholas (Tysha) Rivich; great-nephews, Jon (Katie) Dal Santo and Dean Dal Santo; great-nieces, Julia Vale, Kellyn Vale, Jenna Dal Santo, Christina Dal Santo, and Paige Rivich; and great-great niece, Hensley Dal Santo. Preceded in death by her parents, Nicholas and Mary Rivich; and loving niece, Lisa (Rivich) Vale.

Janet was a 1964 graduate of Morton High School and worked for years at AT&T in Illinois.

She was a lifetime parishioner of Holy Trinity Hungarian Church in East Chicago, Indiana before its closing in 2016.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, DIRECTLY at St. James the Less Catholic Church, 9640 Kennedy Ave, Highland, IN. Friends may visit with the family at the church from 10:00 AM until time of Mass.  Burial to follow at St. John/St. Joseph Cemetery in Hammond, IN. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Lawrence Seminary High School in Wisconsin. Solan Pruzin Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
