Jeannie was met with open arms in heaven by her husband Si and son Donnie. She was the most selfless mom to 4, G-Ma to 10, and Gigi to 8. The definition of a giver, a quality we all cherish. She loved playing games with her family and storytelling around the table. One of her favorite "hobbies" was the casino. Jeannie loved playing the slots and was almost always the luckiest person of the night. Her other favorite thing besides family was working every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday at the Knights of Columbus 1700 in East Chicago for more than half her life. She loved them all and the women/men who came to play. Member of the KC wives for over 50 years including a term as president. She had a very special bond with her goddaughter Donna and loved seeing her when she was in town. She was a Eucharistic minister at St Michael's church in Schererville. Loved going to mass and dinner/breakfast with her dear friend Terry. Jeannie graduated from East Chicago Roosevelt class of 1963 and then went on to Beauty school.
While we will never be able to fill the void created by her passing, we find comfort knowing she is no longer tired or in pain. Until we meet again!!
