Jeffrey L. Mayer

Age 67, of Munster, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 7, 2023. Jeffrey is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Penny (nee Roland); children, Chris Mayer (Christina Wagner) and Jason (Jo) Mayer; and precious grandchildren, Alice and Henry Mayer. Preceded in death by his parents, Maurice and Margaret Mayer; and brother, Dan Mayer.

Jeffrey retired from NIPSCO with 41 years of service and was on the Munster Volunteer Fire Department for 15 years. He appreciated photography and enjoyed family vacations as well as traveling on his motorcycle.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home , 14 Kennedy Ave., Schererville, IN from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A Celebration of Jeffrey's Life will be held at 7:30 PM with Reverend Becky Sunquist officiating.  Services conclude at the funeral home.
