Jessica "Jess" C. Petersen (nee Pelot)

age 33, of Crown Point, IN, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 15, 2022. She is survived by her loving husband Davey Petersen; mother Carol (James) Banks; father David Pelot; sister Jennifer Allen; brother Michael Pelot; nephews Benjamin Jimenez and Kal-el Allen; aunts and uncles: Cathy Stege, Shirann (Lee) Sohre, Linda (Terre) Shambo, Jeannie (Lennie) Kuntz, Arthur (Pat) Pelot, Debbie (Tim) Guiles, Mary Pelot-Kuligoski, Marc (Tina) Pelot; in-laws: Deb (Dave) Petersen, Lauren (Scott) Handley, and Doug Petersen; several other dear family members, cousins, and friends; and precious pets Arya and Indie.

Jess was a 2007 graduate of Lake Central High School and was a member of the GSUSA. She was attending Purdue University Northwest and worked at CED Greentech. Jess loved traveling, gardening, and cooking. She was known for entertaining and throwing great parties, especially for Halloween and Christmas.

A Memorial Gathering Celebrating Jessica's Life will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 3:00PM – 7:00PM, at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home , 14 Kennedy Ave., Schererville, IN 46375.
