John J. Embro Jr.

age 53 of Dyer, IN formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023. John is survived by his loving children, Sean (Sandra) Embro and Stephanie (fiancé, Joseph Schultz) Embro; precious grandchildren, Maxwell and Jameson Embro; dear mother, Beverly (Michael) Sheehan; sisters, Deborah (Brett) Sullivan and Angela (Michael Donohue) Embro; and nieces and nephews. He is preceded by his father, John J. Embro Sr. and brother, Charles Embro.

John truly loved working at Roesch Ford  in Bensenville, IL. His family meant everything to him, and he enjoyed playing  and spending time with his grandchildren. John was a fan of horror movies and was known for saying "I own Halloween." He was an avid Chicago Sports Fan cheering on the Blackhawks, Sox and Bears.  John will be dearly missed and cherished by all who loved him.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at Solan-Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Ave. Schererville, IN. A Service Celebrating John's Life will be held on Sunday at 5:30 PM. Services conclude at the funeral home.
