John George Peter Jr.

age 76, of Hammond, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021. John is survived by his siblings, Helen (Lou) Gacsy, Velma (Fred) Palla and Joe Peter; brother-in-law, Lou Kwell; nephew, Louis (Kathy) Kwell; and great-nieces, Sherry (Bill) Loving, Sarra (Zach) Hill and Samantha Kwell (Mark Jakubowicz). Preceded in death by his dear parents, John and Mary (Butch) Cassody; sister, Mary Ann Kwell; and long-time friend, John Kozubal.

John was born in East Chicago, IN. He worked at Goldblatt's and Humiston Keeling. John was a long-time member of the Maywood Civic Club and proud United States Army Veteran.
