Joseph Edward Thebault

age 79, of Griffith, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2017.  Ed is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Terry; children: Kelly (Darrell) Webb, Deborah (Joel) Duncan and Jeff (Susan) Hall; grandchildren: William (Cheryl) Jackomis, Kristin Hutchins and David (Becky) Hutchins; siblings Robert (Chris) Thebault, Carol (late Ronald) Chibiki and Barbara (Bob) McGee; great grandchildren: Matthew, Rebecca, Emma and Ian; numerous extended family. Preceded in death by his son Scott and granddaughter Kristine.

Ed was a quiet man to those who didn't know him. But his spoken words were always strong and meaningful. He and Terry loved to travel and were fortunate enough to have many vacations nationwide. An avid hunter and fisherman, Ed found no greater peace than when on the lake or in the woods. However, his greatest joy and biggest smile was watching his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren grow and enjoy life.

Friends may visit with the family on Friday, July 7, 2017 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home & Crematory 14 Kennedy Ave Schererville, IN. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 11:00 AM with Dc. Raymond Helfen officiating. In lieu of flowers donations in Ed's honor may be made to the family.
