JOSEPHINE MACIEJEWSKI
age 93, of Hammond , passed away Tuesday March 18, 2014. Josephine is survived by her son Dennis Maciejewski, of Hammond; daughter Nancy (Jeff) Amstein, of Porter; grandchildren Jeffrey and Andrea; great grandchildren Jason, Carter and Bryce; niece Connie Zafko; nephew Thomas Kubic. Preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Edward, brothers Stanley and Thomas, parents Vincent and Constance.

Josephine was a lifetime homemaker and loving wife and mother. She was a member of St. Mary's Parish, the St. Mary Altar & Rosary Society and the Polish Women's Alliance #128. Josephine enjoyed crochet, taking walks and will be dearly missed by her loving family. The family would like to give a special thanks to the Polish Women's Alliance members, both current and deceased, for lifetime friendships. Donations in Josephine's honor may be made to Hospice of the Calumet Area.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday March 21, 2014 at 10:00 AM DIRECTLY at St. John Bosco Catholic Church 7113 Columbia Ave Hammond with Fr. Richard Orlinski officiating. Josephine will lie in state at the church from 9:30 AM until time of mass. At rest Holy Cross Cemetery Calumet City, IL. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday March 20, 2014 from 3:00-7:00 PM at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home 7109 Calumet Ave Hammond.
