Joyce G. Halcomb

age 86, of Hammond, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. Joyce is survived by her daughter Susan (late, Dan) Bosnich of Arizona; Timothy R. Halcomb of Hammond; grandchildren: Timothy G. and Johnathan Halcomb, Marco G. (Kayla) Bosnich and Jennifer (Brent) Holmes; seven great-grandchildren: Arabella, Zanna, Merissa,  Ty, Corina, Eliana Rayne, and Hunter Daniel; and dear friends Crystal (Gilbert) Hernandez and Bobbie Jean Trucky. Preceded in death by her beloved husband Rubin Halcomb; two brothers; and five sisters.

Joyce was born in Kentucky and raised in Tennessee. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God. She took care of her family her whole life. Joyce enjoyed making handmade quilts, was the best cook, and loved her pets. She had a good heart and was truly a good person.

A Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home, 7109 Calumet Ave, HAMMOND, IN 46324. Interment will be held at a later date at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois.
