Judith "Judy" A. Neher (nee Stirling)

Age 83, of Winfield, IN, formerly of Dolton, IL, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, February 26, 2023. Judy is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Deacon Norman; children: Linda Myerson, Carol (Joe) Andras, Vicki (Jim) Smith, and Stephanie (Jimmy) McMahon; 19 precious grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; and sister, Mary Lou (late, James) Flynn. Preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Veronica Stirling.

Judy was a 1957 graduate of Saint Aquinas High School. She was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Church in South Holland, Illinois and was a Brownie Leader with the Girl Scouts. Judy was also President of the Welcome Wagon Club and enjoyed writing poetry. For many years she worked at A&P grocery store and was also a CNA for Golden Years Adult Daycare. She was known affectionately as "Oma" to her grandchildren, whom she loved beyond words. Judy was selfless and will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother who adored her four daughters.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated DIRECTLY AT Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 7667 E 109th Ave, Crown Point, IN, on Friday, March 3, at 11:00 AM. Friends may visit with the family at the church on Friday morning from 10:00 AM until time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent DePaul. Services entrusted to Solan Pruzin Funeral Home.
