Karen Sue Searcy, (nee York) age 56 of Quinton, Alabama, formerly of Hammond, IN passed away Sunday, July 12, 2020.  Karen is survived by her husband, Edward L. Searcy of Quinton, AL; sister, Pat (Bill) O'Neil of Schererville, IN; sister, Carol (Bob) Buckmaster of Chesterton, IN; and brother Mike York of Arizona and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  Karen is preceded in death by her parents Cecil and Lucille York of Hammond, IN.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at 12:00PM at St. John Bosco Catholic Church, 7113 Columbia Ave. in Hammond, IN. Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Cemetery, Schererville, IN. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home, 7109 Calumet Avenue, Hammond, IN; from 9:00 AM until 11:30AM.

Karen was born in Hammond, Indiana and attended Donald E. Gavit Middle/High School.  Karen moved to Quinton, Alabama in 1987 and was a District Manager for AmSouth Bank followed by Office Manager at Victory Inc.
