Karen L. Williams (nee Blair)

age 71, of Gary, IN, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. Karen is survived by her loving son, Andrew Williams; precious grandchildren, Alexis, Gage, Andrew Jr., and Rehannan; mother, Gladys Hudson; and siblings: Donald (Cathie) Blair Margie (Eddie) Stewart, and Michael Blair. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Blair; sister, Laurel Ann "Laurie" Hudson; and niece, Kaitlynn Bozwinkle.

Karen is a proud graduate of Morton High School, Karen dedicated much of her life serving others. She was a lead server at several establishments, including Purple Steer, Flying "J", Top Notch, and Sofia's, where she built lasting friendships and brightened the lives of those around her.

Karen's life was centered on family, and she found her greatest joy in the love and laughter shared with them. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication to those she loved will be deeply missed.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Ave., Schererville, IN 46375. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM, on Friday, March 7, at the funeral home. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 AM until time of service. Burial to follow at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, IN. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly welcomes donations to assist during this time.
