KATHERYN NORMAN

age 89, of Hammond, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015. Katheryn is survived by her children: Karen (Mark) Mybeck, Sandi (Merrill) Clark, Julie Bodnar, Mary (Dan) McBride and Toni Thurman; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; daughter in law Anne Bodnar; best friend Rose Adamko; various nieces and nephews in the U.S. and Ukraine. Preceded in death by her husband Calvin Norman and son William Bodnar.

Katheryn loved to cook and bake. She enjoyed going to garage sales, gardening and pretty flowers. In her youth, Katheryn was quite the dancer and enjoyed polka dancing for many years. She just loved to play bingo and especially loved to win. Katheryn worked for Maruszczak Sausage for over 20 years.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 10:00 AM DIRECTLY at St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Church 8624 White Oak Ave Munster with Fr. Frank Avant officiating. Katheryn will lie in state at the church from 9:30 AM until time of service. At rest St. Nicholas Cemetery Hammond. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, July 17, 2015 from 4:00-8:00 PM at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home 7109 Calumet Ave Hammond. Panachida 6:30 PM.
