Kathryn (Katie) S. Levon (nee Hilton)

age 63, of Rensselaer, IN, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. Katie is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Joel; beloved daughter: Whitney (Steven) Simon; precious grandchildren: Ian, Daliah, and Nathan; beloved brother, Kenneth (Felix) Hilton; many beloved nieces and nephews, and several extended family and friends who became family. Preceded by her adoring son, Adam Levon; parents, Robert and Evelyn Hilton; nephew, Steven Lee; and sister, Martha (Tony) Senetta.

Katie was a devoted wife, mother, sister, daughter, and aunt who put her closest friends and family first before all else. She never shied away from a challenge and was never afraid to stand up for what she believed in. An avid history buff, she loved reading and watching documentaries. Her quick wit and sharp sense of humor were matched only by her love of putting together fabulous outfits. Katie was loved by so many and will be deeply missed.

A Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM-5:00 PM on Monday, March 25, 2024 at Solan-Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Ave. Schererville, IN. A Service Celebrating Katie's Life will be held at 5:00 PM. Services conclude at the funeral home. Burial private. Solanpruzinfuneralhome.com
