Kenneth F. Klitzman

age 69, of Sheboygan, formerly of Schererville, IN, died on Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. He was born in East Chicago, IN, on May 30, 1946, the son of the late Homer K. and Florence M. Nestor Klitzman.
He attended Roosevelt High School in East Chicago, Indiana, graduating in 1964. On July 29, 1972, Ken was united in marriage to Luz Marie Ortega at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in East Chicago, IN. He was a machinist foreman at LTV Steel until his retirement in 2002. Ken was currently the owner/manager of the Little Caesar's Pizza in Sheboygan.

Ken was a passionate Bears fan. He enjoyed bowling, walking his dog, walks on the beach with his wife, and was a Sci Fi enthusiast also. He especially adored his grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.

Survivors include his wife, Lucy, of Sheboygan; a son, SGT Kenneth A. (fiancée Jessica Evanoff) Klitzman; his daughter, Kelly A. (Brad) Hildenbrand; three grandchildren, Landon, Gavin and Jansen; a sister, Pat Wright and a brother, Robert (Lynn) Klitzman, all of Indiana. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ken was preceded in death by his parents and his dog, "Ozzy".

Memorial services for Kenneth will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 4309 Olcott Ave, East Chicago, Indiana. A gathering for family and friends will follow the service at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home & Crematory 14 Kennedy Ave., Schererville, IN 46315, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in his name and may be directed to the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice and the Vince Lombardi Cancer in Clinic. Heartfelt thanks are also extended to his caregivers at the Hospice and Cancer Center for the compassion and care that was given to him during this difficult time.
