Kenneth Martin

age 42, of Schererville, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 11, 2021. He is survived by his wife beloved Colette; loving daughters Kennedy and Caylee; mother, Jacqueline Martin; father Wendell Martin, Jr.; siblings: Keith (Jennifer) Martin, Kevin (Michelle) Martin; nieces Kellie and Kaitlynn Martin; grandfather Carl DiCosmo; grandmother Jacky Martin; father-in-law Donald Ladewig and mother-in-law Desiree Ladewig; and a host of numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Preceded in death by his grandmother JoEllen DiCosmo; grandfather Wendell Martin, Sr; and brother-in-law Kyle Ladewig.

Kenneth graduated as valedictorian in 1997 from Bloom Trail in South Chicago Heights. He graduated with an engineering degree at University of Illinois in Champagne, Illinois. Kenneth was employed at American Structurepoint in Highland, Indiana. He was an awesome cheer dad for Kennedy and softball dad for Caylee. Kenneth was also a huge White Sox fan and loved his craft beer.

A Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021 from 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Avenue, Schererville, IN. A Funeral Service commemorating Kenneth's life will be held at 2:00 PM with Pastor Eric Kleinschmidt officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to his children's future education would be appreciated.
