Krystina "Chris" M. Holcomb

age 65, of Hammond, IN, passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Survived by her husband of 44 years, Martin; sons, Ryan (Nicole) Holcomb and Jeff (Nicole DeNormandie) Holcomb; granddaughter, Rylee Holcomb; grandsons, Jack Holcomb and Miles Holcomb; brother, Richard Nawrocki; nephews, Rich Jr. Nawrocki, Tom Nawrocki, and Stanley Nawrocki. Preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Nawrocki; and brother, Stanley Nawrocki.

Chris was a 1973 graduate of Roosevelt High School in East Chicago. She loved to cook and always made sure no one ever left her house hungry. She enjoyed bunco as well as scrapbooking with her Scrapbooking Sisters. Chris will be remembered for being loving, caring, selfless and always putting her family first.

A Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 7, 2021 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Avenue, Schererville, IN. A Funeral Mass will be on Monday, March 8, 2021 at 12 noon directly at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 8501 Calumet Ave., Munster, IN 46321 with Rev. Michael J. Yadron officiating. Chris will lie in state at the church from 11:30 AM until time of service. Services conclude at the church. In accordance with Indiana Guidelines, please wear face mask and social distance.
