Larry R. Nixon, Jr.

age 51, of Griffith, IN, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. Larry is survived by his loving parents: Paula and Greg L. Hyatt; brother, Greg (Eileen) Hyatt; nephew, Gregory Hyatt; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Preceded in death by his father, Larry R. Nixon, Sr.; brother, Joe; sister, Bonnie; and uncle Billy.

Larry found solace while riding his Harley and embraced the art of music by learning to play guitar. He possessed a remarkable talent as a singer, captivating audiences with his melodious voice during countless karaoke nights.

Larry's dedication was evident in every aspect of his life. Whether it was his commitment to work or his pursuit of personal passions, he approached each endeavor with unwavering determination and diligence. His work ethic served as an inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Though Larry may have left this world, his memory will continue to resonate within the hearts of those who cherished him. His spirit will live on through the memories he created and the lives he touched.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2024 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Solan-Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Ave. Schererville, IN. A Service Celebrating Larry's Life will be held at 7:00 PM. Services conclude at the funeral home. Solanpruzinfuneralhome.com
