Leonila Madrigal age 85 of Hammond, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2020. She is survived by her sons Alvaro (Silvia), Rick (Linda), Efrain (Cecilia), Jose (Rosa), Alejandro (Ofelia), daughters Silvia Alvarado (Enrique), and Elsa Madrigal, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband Jose Madrigal, grandson Adrian Madrigal, granddaughter Angel Melgarejo, and two brothers. Leonila loved her family. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, crocheting, and playing Bingo. Due to the current situation, she will be cremated privately, and her ashes will be taken to Mexico at a later date.
