Leroy L. McConathy

of Sauk Village, IL completed his 90 year journey on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 joining his wife of 18   years Nancy.  Leroy is survived by his children: Shirley (Roger) McConathy, Jennifer (Tony) Zandi, Debra (Joe) Gantner, Leroy McConathy, Floyd (Jane) Jerkins, Sabra (Danny) Dupree and Heather (Don) VanDommelen; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; many cousins and his buddy O.D. Leroy was also preceded in death by his first wife Peggy, his son Tad, parents Ruth and Clyde and his sister Doris.

Friends may visit with family on Monday, January 29, 2018 from 2:00 – 8:00 pm at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home & Crematory 14 Kennedy Ave Schererville, IN. Prayers, Memories and Tall Tales will be shared Monday night at 7:00 pm. Leroy will be laid to rest with full military honors on Tuesday at 11:30 am Homewood Memorial Gardens in Homewood, IL.
