Lillian Grenda

age 90, of Hammond, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2018. Lillian was preceded in death by her loving sister Virginia Petkovich and parents Stanley and Pauline Grenda. Lillian is survived by her dear friend Laura Marshall and her family.

Lillian loved to play Bingo at the nursing home but was mostly known for her monthly People magazine and keeping up on the celebrity scoop, especially the royal family. Lillian was a lifelong area resident, attended St. John Bosco, Hammond High and loved sharing stories about growing up in Hammond. She retired from Nipsco where she worked in the accounting department. Lillian was a beloved friend to all who knew her and smile that would touch your heart.

Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, January 28, 2018 from 10:00 – 11:00 am at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home 7109 Calumet Ave Hammond. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at the funeral home at 11:00 am with John Marshall leading our prayers. Lillian will be laid to rest immediately following at Elmwood Cemetery Hammond, IN.
