Linda Saunders Galusha

Merrillville- Linda Saunders Galusha age 70, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, December 2, 2018. Lin is survived by her beloved husband Everett (Red), brother Ray (Barbara), sister Tammi (Steve) nieces Molly, Dakota, Layla, & Jessica, nephew Nathan. Proceeded in death by her father Albert, mothers Rosemary and Peggy and brother Ted.

When Lin married Red she also married into a beautiful loving extended family- her children. Julie (John), Janet (Jim), Bruce (Sue), David (Laura), Mitch (Kim). Grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Linda was born on March 1 ^st , 1948. She graduated from Marion Catholic High School and began her career downtown Chicago where, through hard work and dedication became the administrative assistant to the Chairman of the Board of FMC corporation for many years. She touched so many lives working her way up in the corporate world and to this day most that met her stayed in contact. Upon leaving that position she moved her employment closer to home and the last ten years has worked at Advanced Products in Calumet City.

Lin's personality was loving, generous and selfless. She was adored by family and friends alike. There is a song in the musical Wicked, "Because I knew you, I have been changed for good." That is the impact Lin had on you. You just wanted to emulate the beautiful soul she was.

Lin enjoyed crafts of all kinds and loved visiting craft fairs whenever there was time. She was also an active member of the Hammond Gamma Nu chapter of Tri Kappa Sorority.

Today our hearts are broken. You will be remembered and cherished forever through the wonderful memories and stories we share.
