Linda L. Miller age 74, of Hammond, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2017. Linda is survived by her children: Cheryl (Dan) Erickson, Ron (Cindy) Miller and Kim (John) Witkowski; grandchildren: Amanda Erickson, Rebecca Plylar and Cassie Ruttledge; great grandchildren: Alyssa, Kaden and William Ruttledge; loyal pup Bart. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years Gene Miller, grandson Matthew Erickson and two siblings.

Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, May 20, 2017 from 1:00-6:00 PM at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home & Crematory 14 Kennedy Ave Schererville, IN. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, May 22, 2017 at 10:30 AM with Pastor Steve Bongard officiating. Friends may gather from 10:00 AM until time of service. Linda will be laid to rest at Elmwood Cemetery Hammond, IN.

Linda retired from the School City of Hammond after 30+ years of service. She was a voracious reader; her favorites were Harry Potter and Game of Thrones. She also enjoyed travel, cross stitch, watching 'Survivor' and 'Amazing Race' on television and getting together with her Bunco Club Ladies every month. Linda loved children, in addition to her career in the school system she was also involved with Girl Scouts for many years.
