Linda L. Wartman

Age 55, of Schererville, formerly of Lake Village, IN, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2016. She is survived by her father, Leroy of Calumet City, IL; her siblings; David (Cathy) Wartman, Randy (Char Holtz) Wartman, Alan (Janet) Wartman, Edward (Jonna) Wartman, and Laura (Reuben) Bloker; nieces and nephews, Katie Rozek, Brandon (Melissa) Wartman, Jennifer Joey) Grundell, Christopher, Sarah, Monica, Luke, Elijah, Noah, Elizabeth Wartman, and Karl; Lee Roy Bloker; grandnieces and nephews. Miranda, Dominic, Gabriel, Zachary, and Liliana. Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Wanda H. Wartman; and brothers Walter and George.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 4, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. DIRECTLY AT Our Lady of Knock Catholic Church, 501 163rd, Calumet City, IL 60409 with Rev. Patrick Lyons officiating. Linda will lie in state at the church from 9:00 a.m. until time of service, and laid to rest directly after at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday March 3, 2016 at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Ave, (corner of Main and Kennedy) Schererville, IN 46375 from 2 till 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Relay for Life - Lake County West Cousins Team, or St. Lawrence Seminary/ Capuchin Franciscan Seminarian Fund.
