Lisa Marie Christian (nee Fogarty)

Age 54, of Hammond, IN, went home to be with the Lord on April 17, 2025. She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Mitchell Christian; children: Desiree Christian (William), Tasha Rosario (Michael), Elizabeth Thacker; grandchildren: Donovan Brown, Ariannah Berumen-Owens, Elijah Berumen-Owens, Patrick Rosario, Maya Owens, Mason Owens, Rylee Owens, Ophelia Rosario; mother, Linda Fogarty; sister, Laurie Fogarty (and family); niece, Jessica Fogarty; nephew, Charles Lessner; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. Preceded in death by her father Gregory Fogarty; grandmother, Shirley Coff; grandchildren: Adam Christian, Ava Christian, and Savannah Berumen-Owens; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Lisa worked for Greater Hammond Community Services for 30 years. She started working for Greater Hammond her senior year of high school. She would attend school half the day and spent her other half working. She loved her job and helping the community. Lisa was such a selfless person, she would do anything for anyone. She had a love for gardening and always taking care of her flowers to make her home look beautiful. If you knew Lisa, she had one sense of a humor. She would always be making jokes and being the life of the party. She will truly be missed and all her memories cherished forever.
