Loretta Ann MacGlashan (Cooley)

age 58, of Hammond, went to eternal rest on Sunday, May 26, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Loretta is survived by her loving family, husband of 17 1/2 years, Harry; children, Patricia Fioltz (Zvonik), John Zvonik and Desiree Scheffel (Zvonik); son in laws, Rob Scheffel and Craig Foltz; daughter in law, Jessica Bryant; step children, Matt, Roy and JoEllen MacGlashan; grandchildren, Hailey Zvonik, Damien Zvonik, Caleb Schaffel, Bianca Foltz, Taylor Scheffel, Chloe Folts and Jakkson Zvonik; brothers, Ray, Frank, Kenny and Jim; sister Debbie LaBuda (Cooley); and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Kennyon and Carol Cooley; son, Carl Cooley; and brothers, Bob and Larry.

A visitation celebrating Loretta's life will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home , 7109 Calumet Ave., Hammond, IN from 2:00 - 6:00 PM.

Loretta attended Whitney Young High School. She started her career in accounting with Bigan Paving and then moved on to Walsh Construction where she retired from. She absolutely loved the television show, "The Golden Girls." She enjoyed going swimming, playing scrabble and collecting unicorn items. Loretta was a doting grandmother who loved hanging out with her grandkids, and would often sneak off with them to go out to eat.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated.
