Lorraine B. Meyer (nee Cechovic)

Age 93, of Highland, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. She is survived by her loving sons: Greg T. (Valerie) Meyer, Thomas A. (late, Carrie) Meyer, and Kevin S. Meyer; precious grandchildren: Madison, Noah, Rebecca, Samantha, Samuel, Mariah, and Benjamin; daughter-in-law, Therese Meyer; brothers, Bernard (June) Cechovic and Frank (late, Luella) Cechovic; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Thomas P. "Tom" Meyer; son, Dennis P. Meyer; parents, Frank and Anna Cechovic; and sister, Gloria Cechovic.

Lorraine had a passion for crocheting, creating beautiful handmade pieces that will be cherished forever. However, it was in the kitchen where she truly shined. Cooking and baking were not just hobbies but gifts she shared with all.

A devoted member of Our Lady of Grace Church, Lorraine lived her faith through kindness, generosity, and an ever-present willingness to lend a helping hand.

Above all, she was an incredible mother—selfless, loving, and always there for her family. She made every moment special, offering unwavering support and endless love. Her legacy will live on in the lives she touched and the love she so freely gave.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, March 10, 2025 directly at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 3025 Highway Ave., Highland, IN 46322 with Rev. Brian Chadwick officiating. Friends may visit with the family at the church from 9:30 AM until time of service. Entombment to follow at St. John/St. Joseph Cemetery in Hammond. In lieu to flowers, the family requests Mass intentions in Lorraine's name.
