Louise E. Elkin (nee Magnabosco)

Age 60, of Hobart, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024. She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Richard; beloved son, Eric Elkin; sisters: Jill (Bill) Fecht, Jamie (late, Jerry) Steffy, and Tracy (Brian) Nagle; several nieces, nephews; countless dear friends; and precious dog, Rocky. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Linda Magnabosco.

Louise was a 1982 graduate of Thornridge High School. She earned her bachelor's degree in early childhood development from South Suburban College and worked as an administrator and child care specialist at ABC Academy in Hobart, IN.

Louise was the world's largest Snoopy fan and a lifelong lover of the Peanuts gang and Lilo and Stitch. She leaves behind memories filled with joy, laughter, and an appreciation for the little things in life, just like her favorite characters taught her.
