Margaret Boyan (nee Jones)

Age 89 of Hammond, IN passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on Friday, March 21, 2025. She is survived by her daughter, Peggy (Johnnie) Parker; son, David Boyan; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister, Cathy Darnel. Preceded in death by her parents, Burt and Catherine Jones; son, Michael; and brothers, Leo Jones and Jerry Jones.

Margaret graduated from Clark High School and went on to work at American Savings Bank – now called American Community Bank. She was an avid Cubs and thoroughly enjoyed working in her yard and staying busy around the house. She was also a lover of animals.

A Graveside Service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, March 28, 2025, directly at St. John St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, 1547 167th St, Hammond, IN 46320. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Humane Indiana: https://www.humaneindiana.org/donate
