Marian Giorgi (nee Zarante)

age 84, of Valparaiso, IN, passed away peacefully on Tueday, May 11, 2021. She is survived by her loving children, Paul (Margarita) Giorgi, Peter (Elizabeth) Giorgi, Jennifer (Scott) Sefton, and Andrew Girorgi, Jr.; grandchildren, Deneen (Adam) McWilliams, Nicole (John) Tsahas, Andrew (Alison) Giorgi, GiAnna (Aric) Collins, Rebecca (Kire) Mitriski; Amanda Schuler, Brad Volpi, Nicholas Giorgi, Julia (Alex) Campos, Matthew (Amanda) Sefton; several precious great-grandchildren; and father of her children, Judge Andrew Giorgi. Preceded in death by her loving parents, Peter and Mabel Zarante (nee Stuebner); sisters, infant Francis, Rose Celano, Dolly Zarante.

Wearing the latest fashion, Marian enjoyed shopping, cooking, watching movies. She also loved to go on vacations, spend time at the beach and being poolside at her house. Marian was a Precinct Committee Woman and had an active role in politics. She was also a devoted mother.

A Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 16, 2021 from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Avenue, Schererville, IN. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, May 17 at 11:00 AM with Father Ron Kondziolka officiating . Burial to follow at Evergreen Hills Memory Gardens in Steger, IL.
