Mark Edwin Michau

age 53, of Crown Point, IN formerly of Calumet City, IL, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, June 16, 2022. Mark is survived by his beloved wife of 18 years, Diana Michau (nee Schmit); daughter, Rebecca; grandchildren, Lilliana, Darrell, Devin and Dylan; dear parents, Ray E. and Ann Michau Jr.; brother, Jason (Chris) Michau; sister, Renee (Tim) Tinsley; mother-in-law, Sue (late, Paul) Schmit; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and precious pets, "Toby" and "Stormy." Preceded by his mother, Carol Gerstner.

Mark was a 1987 graduate of Thornwood High School in South Holland, IL. He went on to attend Triton College in River Grove, IL. Mark worked at Tower International in Chicago, IL. He enjoyed wood working and loved working in his garden and his cats.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, June 20, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home , 14 Kennedy Avenue, Schererville, IN 46375. A service Celebrating Mark's Life will be held at 7:00 PM with Pastor Tom Shanahan officiating. Services conclude at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations for research for Familial Adenomatous Polyposis (FAP) Cancer would be appreciated.
