Age 84, Mary Ann passed away peacefully, March 3rd. She was the mother of three daughters, Linda Moore of Texas, Christine Moch of Florida, and Joanne Raksanyi also of Florida; four grandsons, David (Marcela) and Jonathan Moore; Christopher Moch; and Daniel Cunningham.
She was the third of four daughters born to Marion and Florence Kowalski, all who preceded her in death and will be sadly missed by her nephews, niece, cousins and their children; sister-in-law, Helen Raksanyi of Munster, along with many other family members and friends.
Retired from US Gypsum, Chicago, IL, after 27 years, she commuted each day by bus to her job in the Accounting Department. She resided at the Hammond Elderly Apartments for the last 16 years where she again made many new friends. Mary Ann loved Big Band music, Lawrence Welk being her favorite, and will be remembered as the independent, hard-working mother, aunt and friend that she was !
