MARYLYN M. KRAUSE
age 76, of Highland, passed away Friday November 21, 2014. Marylyn is survived by her loving husband of 57 years Horst; children: Karen (Dick) Wood, Mona (Jeffrey) Mauck, David (Karen) Krause, Steven (Sherri) Krause, Robert (Racquel) Krause and Michael (Kristen) Krause; 16 grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; sister Jean (Gary) Aschenbrenner; brother David Thrall; brother in law Dieter (Gundi) Krause; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her parents George and Leone Thrall; brothers Art and George Thrall; mother in law Ida (Marion) Pigula; brother in law Armin Pigula.

Marylyn was a loving wife, caring mother and devoted grandmother. She retired from Community Hospital after 26 years of service as a switchboard operator. Marylyn was a true Washingtonian and an avid Huskies fan. She was a resident of Highland for 50 years. Jesus Christ was her Lord and Savior. She gave her all to be with her family and will be truly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2014 from 12:00-4:00 PM at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home & Crematory 14 Kennedy Ave Schererville. A prayer service will be held at 3:00 PM with Dc. Michael Halas officiating. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Children International, www.children.org.
