Matthew Franco

Age 34, of East Chicago, IN passed away Monday, March 6, 2017.  He is survived and was a proud father of his son, Matthew Jr.; grandparents, Esther and Raymond Franco; step father, Lazaro Morales; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Matthew is preceded in death by his mother, Toni Marie Morales.

A Funeral Service will be held 7:00 PM, Friday, March 10, 2017 at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home & Crematory , 14 Kennedy Ave., Schererville, IN (corner of Kennedy and Main) 46375.  Friends may visit with the family on Friday March 10, 2017 at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM.

Matthew loved to cook and it was his passion and "his identity." He graduated from Central High School, and then Ivy Tech Culinary School.  He adored his son, and would always say his son was the blood that ran thru his veins.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the family to start a fund for his son would be appreciated.
