Michael F. Hill

Michael F. Hill, 63, of Dyer, passed away suddenly on September 14th 2024. He is survived by his father, Dennis Hill; daughter, Michelina (Raul) Santos; step-daughter, Taylor Fogarty; son, Joel Hill; grandsons, Chase Santos and Kaiden Santos; siblings, Robert Hill, John Hill, Thomas (Cheryl) Hill, Janice (Paul) Lewalski; and his best 4-legged friend, Zak. Michael is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Hill.

A life-long resident of Northwest Indiana, Michael was an avid fisherman who loved to camp and go boating. He had a passion for nature, finding joy in photography and birding. He also loved to cook, especially  with all his homegrown vegetables that he took so much time and effort in caring for. He enjoyed sharing them for free with his community-especially his tomatoes! His backyard was his paradise.

Michael was best known for his exceptional gift of building and remodeling homes; he took great pride in his work and doing things the right way. Michael will forever be remembered as an exceptional and skilled carpenter.

Loving memories will be forever cherished by all who knew him
