Michael “Jimmy” J. Jusko

Michael J. Jusko, age 71, passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Connie Jusko; loving children, Kimberly (Kevin) Zurek, Stephan (Emily) Jusko; precious grandchildren, Carly Zurek, Zachary Zurek, and Lorela Jusko; sisters, Diane (Wayne) Wiedman and Donna (late, Michael) Sinchar; brother, Dennis (Robin) Jusko; and precious pet, “Daisy”.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Michael Jusko Jr.

Michael was a 1973 graduate of Morton High School and retired from Pet Supply Imports, where he dedicated more than 25 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, attending church, serving as a church leader in his church community, and taking trips with his church family. One of his favorite places was his beloved cottage in Michigan, where he enjoyed spending time and making memories.

A visitation will be held Friday, October 16, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Solan-Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Avenue, Schererville, IN 46375.

A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Hefner officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 9:00AM - 10:00 AM. Burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Hammond, IN.
