MYRON D. GUTHRIE "MONK"

age 72, of Hammond, passed away Monday March 31, 2014. Myron is survived by his loving wife of 38 years Lola; children: Troy E. Guthrie, Travis Krotser, Jeff Krotser, Sherry McClelland, Kurtis Krotser and Belinda Hartoonian; children from previous marriage: Dale, Richard and late Sherry; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister Marlene (Michael) Stevens; uncle Daryl Guthrie. Preceded in death by his son James Krotser III, daughter Brenda Smith, parents Rio and Margaret.

Myron retired from Union Pacific after 40 years and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday April 6, 2014 at 6:00 PM at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home 7109 Calumet Ave Hammondwith Fr. William O'Toole officiating. Cremation at Solan Pruzin to follow service. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 12:00-6:00 PM at the funeral home.
